We are a ceilidh band from the area around Ponteland We play ceilidhs from Chillingham Castle in the north, to Blyth on the coast, Hexham and of course Tyneside for charity fundraisers, private parties etc. The band is drawn from a pool of young players,(14 to 18 years old), with adult support, currently including Fiddles, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet Keyboard, Whistle, Northumbrian pipes and Bass Guitar. The band leader is Jim Grant who has worked with young people, music and traditional dance for many years. We work voluntarily as part of the Ponteland Youth Service.

We arrange practices to suit the players’ needs - currently at Ponteland High School on alternate Tuesdays 3.30 to 4.30.
