Ponteland Local History Society

Ponteland Local History Society was formed in 1968 with the aim of bringing together those with an interest in history and the traditions of the local community. The society meets regularly in St. Mary’s Church Hall where new members will be assured of a warm welcome.

The society also provides a Help Desk every Friday afternoon in Ponteland Library from 2.00pm until 5.00pm where a member of the society can assist your research my making documents and photographs from the society archive available.
