2006 Duck Race Report and Pictures

2007 sees the 20th Annual Ponteland Duck Race once again moving from its usual early summer slot to Sunday 2nd September. It is one of the many fund raising events organised by the Rotary Club of Ponteland. Yellow ducks can be purchased to race in the separate childrens and adults races, whilst local businesses have their very own little boats to race in between the main races. Refreshments are usually available along with a band to entertain the crowds and bouncy castles and slides for the children. The races are held on the River Pont in Ponteland Park.

Admission is free and the races begin at 2.00pm
