A Harvest of Paintings.
Five Northumbrian artists present an exhibition of floral paintings, beautiful gardens, country landscapes and colourful still life paintings.
The Moot Hall, Hexham, Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st October 2006, open 10:00 to 4:00
Joan Somner, Brenda Benjamin and Nancy Beveridge live in Ponteland and paint with the local Ridley Art group. Liz Nimmo lives in Riding Mill and paints with the Kirkwhelpington and the Riding Mill art groups. Chris Sparrow lives in Gosforth and paints individually.
The group exhibit work together in Hexham and Edinburgh. Joan and Brenda also exhibit with the Society of Botanical Artists in London and the Society of Floral Painters at Mottisfont Abbey. Liz and Chris's paintings have been exhibited in the Laing and Hatton galleries in Newcastle
